About Coin Jar

Coin Jar is one shared glass jar, sitting on a table under a single lamp. Anyone can drop coins into it, and everyone who has the page open watches them fall in at the same moment.

Nothing is taken out. The jar only ever fills.

How it works

  • Every new visitor can drop 10 free coins, once.
  • After that, you can buy coin drops. SGD 1 drops 5 coins.
  • Drops of SGD 20 or more get 5% bonus coins on top.
  • Every coin lands in the same jar for everyone to see.

What this is (and isn't)

Coin Jar is a small interactive art piece: you're paying for the moment of dropping coins into a jar together. It is not a wallet or a savings account. Coins can't be withdrawn, transferred or exchanged, and they have no cash value.

The notes on the board now, newest first. Removing one takes it off the board for everyone.
