These terms apply when you use Coin Jar at coincloud.stream. Coin Jar is run by Wesley, an individual in Singapore. By creating an account or buying a coin drop, you agree to these terms and to our privacy policy. Questions: privacy@coincloud.stream.

What Coin Jar is

Coin Jar is a shared virtual jar. Anyone can watch; with an account you can drop coins into it, and everyone watching sees them fall. The coins are virtual: they have no cash value, cannot be withdrawn, exchanged, transferred or spent anywhere, and there is nothing to win. Buying a coin drop is paying for the drop itself: your coins falling into the shared jar, optionally with a short note. It is not a donation to a charity, an investment or a game of chance.

Your account

• You need an account to drop coins or post notes. Keep your password to yourself; you are responsible for what happens under your account.
• Each person gets 10 free coins, once. Please use one account per person: accounts made to collect extra free coins may be removed.
• Coin Jar is not intended for children under 13. If you are under 18, ask a parent or guardian before buying anything.

Buying coin drops

• Prices are in Singapore dollars and shown before you pay. The number of coins for each amount is shown on the site before you pay.
• Payments are processed by Stripe. Your card details go to Stripe, not to Coin Jar.
• After a successful payment you choose to add a note or skip; then your coins drop. If a payment fails or you cancel it, no coins drop and you are not charged.

Refunds

No refunds once your coins have dropped, because a drop can't be taken back out of the jar. This doesn't affect any rights you have under the law.

If you were charged but your coins never dropped (for example because of a technical problem), or you were charged twice for the same drop, email privacy@coincloud.stream with the date and amount: we will drop the coins or refund you.

Usernames and notes

Your username, your bulletin board note and any note you add to a paid drop are public. Don't post anything that is:

• hateful, harassing, threatening or sexual
• someone's personal information (including your own contact details)
• advertising, spam or links
• illegal, or that infringes someone else's rights

An automatic filter refuses some words, and we may remove any username or note, or suspend or delete an account, that breaks these rules or harms other visitors. Removing content or an account does not entitle anyone to a refund.

You keep the rights to what you write; by posting it you let Coin Jar show it publicly on the site.

Fair use

Don't try to break, overload or get around the limits of the site, access other people's accounts, or collect coins or data by automated means.

The service

Coin Jar is a small project provided as is. We try to keep it running and the jar intact, but we can't promise it will always be available or free of errors, and we may change features or end the service. To the extent the law allows, Coin Jar is not liable for indirect losses, and its total liability to you is limited to what you paid for coin drops in the 12 months before the claim.

Changes

We may update these terms. The new version will appear on this page with a new "Last updated" date; if you keep using Coin Jar after that, the new terms apply.

Law

These terms are governed by the laws of Singapore.
